At the Watering Hole is a safe haven, where you can be your authentic self, a sacred space where we water others with our wisdom and are watered by theirs. If you’re ready for transformation and personal growth … then this is home.
I enjoy seeing people smile. Not the hurried, forced smiles that mask what’s within, but those deep-rooted smiles that are like lamps in a dark room.
Sickness stifles satisfaction and steals our joy. I realized that it’s easier for people to smile when they are healthy and well. Sickness robs us of our will to smile. People smile when they are happy and surrounded by people who make them feel safe.
People smile when they find and connect to their community.
I’m not a doctor, a nurse, or anyone in the medical profession. However, as a child several people, including my mother, told me that I’m gifted with the ability to intuitively connect with people, tap into their pain, and help to heal them.
Over the years, many people have told me that my words comfort them, and in many cases, have healed them, but I only connected the dots that this was my purpose when I got out of my own way, purged myself of the sludge of memory and experience and chose to be obedient.
