Selwyn Collins is passionate about promoting gender equality in Guyana. He has incorporated the Women of Brand YOUth (W.O.B.Y.) into his work, which speaks to his dedication to empowering women and fostering growth for equality. In 2018, Selwyn took the lead in hosting International Women’s Day in Guyana, showcasing his commitment to supporting women’s rights. In 2019, he hosted the Region’s first 40 Under 40 Entrepreneurial Awards, and in 2022, he organized a seven-week International Women’s Forum through Brand YOUth Global. This event created a platform for women from various backgrounds to come together, share experiences, and foster positive change.

Selwyn was also the architect of Brand YOUth’s Entrepreneurial Tax Forum, designed to assist small and medium-sized businesses in Guyana. His innovative media skills have enabled him to create Conversations With Selwyn (CWS), an online forum that provides an archival library of life stories.
